LLC Setup Help

We walk you through forming a Michigan LLC and do the paperwork with you.

Who it's for: you've decided to form an LLC in Michigan and want the filing done right, without paying a lawyer for paperwork.

How it works

  1. Order. Sign a one-page order and pay $299. You pay the $50 filing fee to the State of Michigan directly.
  2. Kickoff call (up to 45 minutes). You tell us your business name, who the owners are, your registered agent and any choices you've made. You make every decision; we fill in what you decide.
  3. Name check. We check your name against the State of Michigan's own business-name search.
  4. File. We fill in and file Michigan's Articles of Organization with you.
  5. EIN. We help you get your free EIN (your business tax ID) from the IRS.
  6. Email and bank. We set up one business email address and give you a business bank checklist, plus a registered agent referral if you want one.
  7. "You're Official" folder. Copies of everything and your key dates, in one place.

Google Business Profile setup

We create or fix your Google Business Profile, the listing that shows up on Google Search and Maps.

Who it's for: new businesses, and businesses whose profile is missing, unverified or half filled in.

How it works

  1. Order. Sign a one-page order and pay $349.
  2. Kickoff call. We confirm your name, categories, hours, phone, website, and whether you have a storefront or serve an area. A home-based business never shows its home address.
  3. Create or claim. We create your profile, or claim the one Google already made, in your name. We're added as a manager.
  4. Fill it in. Categories, hours, your services list and description, and up to 10 photos you provide.
  5. Verification. We walk you through Google's verification, up to 2 tries. Google decides who gets verified.
  6. Reviews. You get a review link and a printable review QR card.
  7. First post. We publish your first post, so the profile looks active from day one.

Your whole front door in one project: a 5-page website, your Google Business Profile, 2 review cards, your domain and the first month of website care.

Who it's for: a new or small business that needs to look real online and get calls, without hiring three different companies.

How it works

  1. Short call. Your business, your customers, and what the site needs to do (calls, bookings, quote requests).
  2. Written scope. The 5 pages, what's included and what isn't, the revision rounds, the target dates and what we need from you.
  3. Deposit or plan. 50% to start and 50% before launch, or 4, 6, 8 or 12 payments with no interest (about $208/month over 12, subject to approval).
  4. Your content. You send words, photos, your logo and any logins. Target dates depend on getting these on time.
  5. Build. We design and code the site, mobile-first and fast, with calls, forms and booking links going to your phone and inbox. We set up your Google profile at the same time.
  6. Review. We send each main piece for review. You have 7 days to approve it or send fixes. 2 rounds of changes per main piece are standard.
  7. Launch. Once you approve and the final payment clears, we connect your domain and go live. You get your 2 review cards.
  8. 30 days of fixes. For 30 days after launch, we fix anything that doesn't work the way your scope says, at no charge.
  9. Care comes with it. Month one of care is included. Then pick a care plan: $99, $179 or $299 a month. Once it's paid off, it's yours. If you ever cancel care, we hand you the files.

How it works

  1. Brief. Your business, your customers, and logos or styles you like and don't.
  2. Directions. We show you a few different directions to choose from.
  3. Refine. 2 rounds of changes on the one you pick are standard.
  4. Final files. Your logo in the formats you'll need for the web, print and signs.

Who it's for: anyone still using a free Gmail for the business, or whose domain and email are tangled up.

How it works

  1. Pick the name. We help you choose and register the domain, in your name.
  2. Hosting and SSL. We connect hosting with SSL, the padlock that keeps visitors safe.
  3. Business email. We set up email at your domain, like you@yourbusiness.com.
  4. Connect the records. We set up the settings that point your domain to your site and help your email reach inboxes.

How much does it cost to start an LLC in Michigan with Mainfront?

Can you guarantee Google will verify my profile?

No. Google decides who gets verified. We walk you through Google's verification, up to 2 tries, and we never buy, fake or filter reviews.

Will my home address show on Google?

No. If you run the business from home, we set it up as a service-area business, so Google doesn't show your home address.

Who owns my website, domain and Google profile?

You do. Your domain and Google Business Profile are set up in your name, with us added as a helper. Once a build is paid in full, the custom work we made for you is yours, and we hand over the files and admin logins.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Approved business builds like the Launch Kit can be split into 4, 6, 8 or 12 payments with no interest, about $208 a month over 12. LLC Setup Help and Google Business Profile setup are paid in full when you sign.
